Jacquelyn "Jacquie" Gibson

Jacquelyn (Jacquie) Beryl Gibson, 92, passed away peacefully in Crestview, Fl and went Home to be with her Lord and Savior December 10, 2024. She was born on January 7, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to James and Lucy Sanders. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jimmy, and her husbands, Harrick (Rick) Blasberg and James Gibson as well as grandson, Benjamin Gavette. Jacquie is survived by her 4 children, 12 grandchildren, 26 great gandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Jacquie loved the Lord with all her heart and her faith was the most important thing to her and was never shy about talking about Jesus and His love for us. When her children were young, she worked for the Okaloosa County School Board. Jacquie was very creative and artistic. She loved to sew and worked as a self-employed seamstress. She was known for her original designed soft sculptured dolls and traveled around to many arts & crafts shows in the southeast for many years. She was an exceptional artist and loved drawing and painting. Jacquie loved her family, and her home was the gathering place for everyone for holidays or for friends and family just passing through town. She always went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and loved.

Family, friends and others whose lives Jacquie touched are invited to her visitation at 10:00 am and funeral service at 11:00am, Tueday, December 17, 2024 at Dorcas Baptist Church followed by internment at Dorcas Baptist Church Cemetery.
