Jim Giffard age 81of Crestview passed away on Tuesday December 6, 2022, in Pensacola, FL at Scared Heart Hospital. He was born in Buck Falls Hills, PA on September 20, 1941. Jim joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for twenty plus years. He was a member of Lakewood Church in Crestview. Jim loved building R/C airplanes and flying them. He also loved to play cards, especially Bridge. Most of all Jim loved his family. Jim is survived by his wife of 29 years Patricia Giffard; children: James Giffard, Jr, Gwynette Fillingane and husband Randy, Sarah Giffard and Diane Robinson and her husband Jerry. Also surviving are his grandchildren Melissa, Bridget, Wesley, Jody, and Derek and three great grandchildren. The celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Saturday December 17, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Lakewood Christian School in Jim’s memory.
