Helen Jeanette Johnson Jeanette Johnson, age 73, of Baker, FL passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. She was born on June 13, 1951, to Randall and Roshell Stewart. Jeanette attended and graduated from Laurel Hill School in Laurel Hill, FL. Jeanette attended both Rock Creek Assembly of God Church and Yellow River Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, traveling, NASCAR racing, the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, motorcycles, riding horses, cookouts, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Randall and Roshell Stewart; sister, Evelyn Cartee; and late husband, Steve Johnson.

Jeanette is survived by her husband of almost 28 years, Edd Garrett; children: Scott Cook, and wife, Holley; Audrey Mills and Beau Thomas; Stepchildren: Reba Jones and husband, Jeff; Carrie Stewart and husband, Brad; Brother, Mike Stewart and wife, Laresa; Sister, Billie Jo Lyons. 9 grandchildren: Jacqueline Cook, Kendall Cook, Hayden Hanks, Madolyn Mills, Clay Barlow, Brinn Jones, Jamison Graves, Weston Graves, Tyler and Marisa Meeks. 4 great-grandchildren: Marley Cook, Brantley Thames, Cameron Briody, and Devan Meeks.

A time of visitation with the family will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home with Pastor David Elliott and Pastor Donnie Cadenhead officiating. Burial to follow in the Yellow River Baptist Church Cemetery.
