A loving and fierce mother and beautiful hardworking wife, that loved Jesus and didn't know a stranger. She passed peacefully at home in her sleep October 21,2023. She loved gardening, fishing, crafting, reading and studying her Bible, singing songs as well as cooking and visiting with friends and family. She adored all her children and grandkids, she especially loved and enjoyed her time with her grandson Ronnie Wayne. She worked hard and gave a lot of her time to those around her and those she came into contact with. She loved deeply, cared greatly, and gave not dutifully but freely. And at times fought tenaciously for her family. It felt good knowing she was in your corner.
She is proceeded in death by 2 brothers Amos Ike Montford Jr. And Ronnie Wayne Montford. 1 sister Nancy Jane Ripkowski and both her parents.
She is survived by 2 sisters Judy Rowe, and Doris Day, and 1 brother Alex Grant. Her husband of 34yrs William Clifton Hale, 3 children Wayne Montford, Jacob Dearmon and Tabitha Lewis. 9 grandchildren. And 5 great-grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews that she loved and cared for as her very own kids.
