Jeff Thames

Jefferson David Thames, age 67, Passed away on Tuesday December 22, 2020. He was born on December 30, 1952 and raised in Escambia
Farms, FL.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Tula Thames, His brother Doodle Thames and his sister Botchi Hart.

Jeff loved the Lord and was a devoted and loving husband, father and papa. He spent 33 years as a firefighter, from riding tailboard to
retiring from Civil Service as an Assistant Chief.

He is Survived by his loving wife if 48 years, Gayle Barrow Thames of Manchester, TN, son, Brian Thames and wife Casey Thames of Ashland City, TN, Daughter Kristin Lynch and husband Bernie of Crestview, FL, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grand-children and many
nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Lifepoint Church in Crestview on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 beginning at 2:00 p.m. A burial will follow at Cotton Cemetery in Baker, Florida.
