Jessie Mae Allen

          Jessie Allen age 80 of Baker passed away at her home on July 12, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born in Crestview on May 5, 1942, to Jesse and Alice York and has been a lifetime resident of the area. She was a member of the Milligan Assembly of God. Jessie loved Jesus first and foremost and was a prayer warrior for anyone who asked. She loved to cook for her family and friends and loved her flowers, but most of all she loved her family. Jessie was preceded in death by her sister Eloise York; parents Jesse and Alice York; her husband Jerry Allen; sisters: Judy Howard; son-in-law Glyn Patten and sister-in-law Shirley York.

          Jessie is survived by her two sons, Ricky and wife Ceretha Allen of Milligan and Jack and wife Mary Allen of Baker; two daughters, Gwen Patten of Holt and Sheron and husband Mark Forehand of Milligan; brother Danny York; 9 grandchildren, Jeremy, Joshua, Anthony, Patrick, Holly, Caleb, Jessica, Jacob, and Seth; and 13 great grandchildren.

The celebration of Jessie’s life will be held on Sunday July 17, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Milligan Assembly of God with burial to follow in the First Baptist Church of Milligan Cemetery. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 2:00 p.m.
