Her husband of 49 years, William G "Jerry" Taylor.
Survived by her children Teresa (John) O'Connor, Lisa Blocker, and Edward Taylor.

She grew up in Florida all her life. As a young woman of 18, she went to stay with her Aunt's, Glenda and Clara in Pensacola. There, she met Jerry. Her parents found out she liked Jerry and decided they were going to go to Pensacola and take her back home. She and Jerry eloped before her parent could get there. On Dec 7, 1961, this young country girl took on the role of military wife keeping her family together no matter where they were stationed. Sometimes by herself for a year at a time. Her first real adventure was in the Panama Canal. Jerry was on a remote tour and snuck Juanita and Teresa down to Panama to have his family close to him. Their next assignment overseas was Germany. Juanita and 3 children traveled alone to Germany, where Jerry was waiting for them. This Florida family in cotton stepped off the plane with snow on the ground. Jerry and Juanita always took advantage of each duty station to be a learning opportunity. Between her and Jerry, they taught the family what it meant to be an American and to appreciate different cultures, customs and what it meant to be a family. She loved traveling, crusing, and spending time with her family.
Grandchildren: Amber (Troy) Hudson, Megan (Brad) Phillips, Alicia Williams, Nicolas Blocker and Michael O'Connor.
Great grandchildren: Jason Hudson, Parker Hudson, Laila Phillips, Austyn Phillips, Carson Williams and Nichali Blocker.
She loved all her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
