Joe Scheid

CMSGT Joe Scheid, age 87, of Crestview, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 23, 2020. Joe was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church where he was very active and dedicated to the church. Among his services, he was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus. Joe loved his country and proudly served 30 years in the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his wife, Julia Scheid, his parents, and 1 grandson, Chasen Scheid. Survivors include, sons: Jerry Scheid, Garry Scheid and wife Kim, and Jimmy Scheid and wife Danita: daughters: Cathy DeJulia and husband Bob and Gina Phelps and husband Howell. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and Aubrey Jo on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu, of flowers the family ask that donations be made to your favorite charity. The Celebration of Joe’s life will be on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 9:00am at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with burial to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL at 1:00pm.
