Joey Johns

Joey Johns age 29 of Crestview passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at his home. He was born in Pensacola, FL on July 3, 1991. Joey grew up in Crestview and graduated from Crestview High School in 2010. He loved to play video games and loved music. He enjoyed dancing and his technology. Most of all he loved his family. Joey was preceded in death by his grandparents: Guss and Jewel Johns, and Cleavy and Ida Posey.

Joey is survived by his parents: Jeff and Marsha Johns; brother and sister-in-law Jay Johns and his wife Brandy; Niece Justyce, nephews: Dustin, Eli, Jaysten, and Corbin; grandmother Nola Posey; Aunts and Uncles: Jeri and James Tobias, Beth and Alex Ingram, Joyce and Lynn Garrett, Jennifer and Frank Lazarro, Cleavy and Debbie Posey, along with numerous cousins and extended family and friends.

The celebration of Joey’s life will be on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Cadenhead officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 3:00 p.m. A private family burial will take place at a later time.
