John Sharp Eubanks was born on March 16, 1942, in Paragould, Arkansas to JT and Jewell B. (Sharp) Eubanks. He passed from this life into the next on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the age of 82, in Crestview, Florida.
After graduating from Lee Summitt High School in 1960, he began a 40-year career working for his country. John was a member of the United States Air Force from 1961-1981 where he worked as a Jet Engine Mechanic and was a Vietnam Veteran, retiring at the rank of MSGT. From 1981-2001 John worked for Civil Service at Hurlburt Field as a Jet Engine Mechanic Instructor. After retiring, he had a small hobby ranch where he raised horses and loved the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister; Bonnie Burgess, and one brother; Larry Joe Eubanks.
He is survived by his son; Johnny M Eubanks (Marcell B.), two daughters; Cheryl A Fuller and Julie McLaughlin (Scott), grandchildren; Brittany Jones (Ryan), Krista Landen (Adam), and Michelle Fess (Bryson), Great-Grandchildren; Mykala (Waylon) Jones, Oliver (Kari Marie) Landen, and Kallie Fess. He is also survived by two sisters: Judy Vazquez (Hector) and Duretta Sanchez.
Mr. Eubanks will be interred with Full Military Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery Pensacola, Florida on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 2:30pm.
