Johna Jeffords

Johna Jeffords, 75, of LaFayette, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Ms. Jeffords split her time between LaFayette and Crestview, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Jeffords; daughter, Robin Marie Tarpley; parents, Mike and Alice Hansen; biological mother, Ruby Beardsley; and brother, Richard Beardsley. She is survived by her daughter, Terra (Billy) Coulter; grandchildren, Christopher (Jessica) Pyper, Jeremy (Mandy) Pyper, Tyler (Courtney) Tarpley, and Kindal Tarpley; several great grandchildren; sisters, Danna (Dale) Novotny, Donita (Lavern) Potter, and DelRey Beardsley; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 9, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Interment will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Fla., Tuesday, April 12, at 1 p.m. Arrangements are by Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home.
