Joshua Anson Obituary

Joshua Leon Anson, 38, peacefully passed away on May 1, 2022. Born in Potsdam, NY, Josh spent most of his life living in Florida before making Weaver, Alabama his home. Josh is survived by his wife Keri and their three beautiful children, Robert, Lydia, and Oliver; grandfather Jerry; sister Chantilly (Ryan); brother Joshua; sisters in law Joanna and Samantha; aunts Cheryl (Vi) and Donna; and cousins Chaz and Kerilyn. Josh was the best Uncle to his many nieces and nephews: Abbey, Emma, Jayce, JaRyan, Ellie, Trenton, Brayden, Destiny, William, and Arthur. Josh is preceded in death by his parents Jerald and Cissie Bunyan and his brothers Zachery and Robert. In 2010, Josh became a volunteer firefighter for the North Okaloosa Fire Department. In his spare time, Josh enjoyed playing paintball with his team Arc Light, and being a referee at Dothan Survival Games. Josh's passion was photography. He loved to take pictures of nature and of people being their natural selves. Josh will always be remembered for his caring and witty personality. Any moment you were by his side or in front of his lens, you felt honored. A smile on his face or a flash from his camera would always bring light to your life.
