It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julianne McLaughlin who left this world on September 4, 2023 in Crestview, FL after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer.

Julianne was born on June 7, 1959 to Paddy Joe and Nellie Conway.  She was the middle child of 9 children, originally from 46 Mitchels Ave, Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland.  She was a loving sister to her siblings and their partners:  Johnny and Breda Conway, Jane and Tom Healy, Patsy and Sharon Conway, Martin and Elaine Conway, Dan Joe and Steph Conway, Ellen and Patrick Finnegan, Martina and Stephen Fernane, Elizabeth and Shane McMahon and her sister-in-law, Julie Neubauer.  She was especially grateful for the visits, calls, cards, and games from those keeping her spirits up the last few months.

Julianne is survived by her loving husband, Stephen McLaughlin after 45 years together.  She was a beloved and adored mother to:  Laura and Stephen Quish, Siobhan and Jake Johnson, Sheila and Sean Walsh, Brendan McLaughlin and Aimee Provencher, and Noreen McLaughlin.  She was also a loving Nana to:  Alexis, Connor, Seán Óg, Lilly, Lucas and Fiona and cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Julianne will be remembered for her wonderful Irish hospitality, a toughness that was sweet and enduring, her love of preparing big meals for family gatherings, a serenade of ‘Mama’ by Boyz II Men as well as a night of good craic. 

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 9th at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview, FL.  Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to American Association for Cancer Research in memory of Julianne McLaughlin.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the many healthcare workers involved in Julianne's cancer treatment and care.

Julianne's memory will forever live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.  May she rest in peace.
