Julius Waters departed this world our point man after battling severe illnesses for a very long time. Jul was a Vietnam Veteran, 5th Special Forces. He was in law enforcement for many years in New Jersey. He was a Scout leader and supporter and was a life member with the Air Victory Museum in Lumberton, New Jersey. After moving to Crestview in 2009, he continued his mentoring by helping new gun owners (and old ones) learn to shoot safely and responsibly. He was a master gunsmith, avid hunter, and loved the outdoors. He leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Evelyn Waters, his daughter Margaret Stewart (Phil Stewart), grandchildren Thomas Myers, Niki Eggert (Matthais), Derek Stewart (Christine), and great-grandchildren Sarah Eggert, Lukas Eggert, Dalton Stewart, and Drake Stewart. He also leaves behind many fond memories of his mentoring, friendship, and patriotism. In accordance with Jul’s wishes, there will not be a service.
