Kenneth Phelps, 69, of Crestview, Florida, embraced the arms of Jesus Saturday evening January 20, 2024.

Ken was born on September 9, 1954, to Melvin and Eleanor Phelps in Tucson, Arizona.

Ken graduated from Deer Park High School in 1973. He then later enlisted into the United States Air Force in 1977. Ken felt tremendous pride while working with the NASA program during his time in the Air Force.

In May of 1983 Ken received the gift of the Holy Spirit, and began his new life for the Lord. He then went on to marry his beautiful wife Linda, on December 17, 1983 for a wonderful 40 years.

Ken enjoyed fishing, worm farming, collecting knives and flashlights, BB Gun shooting with his grandchildren, motorcycle rides, tinkering with electronics, bringing a smile to others, sharing God's love, worshiping, spending time with his amazing wife and family.

He is survived by his wife Linda, 4 sons, Bradley, Darryl (Shawna), Aaron (Stephanie), Benjamin (Meagan), 15 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held on January 25, 2024 from 3:30-4:30pm at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with the funeral service starting at 4:30pm. Interment will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mobile, Alabama.
