Kraven Lukas Carr

Kraven Lukas Carr of Baker, FL, was only 19 when he was tragically taken from us on 04/29/2025. He was born on September 30th, 2005, in Fort Walton Beach, FL. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew, and friend to all. 

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, driving his truck or the side by side, and spending time with his close friends and family. Many have distinct memories of him enjoying his life to the fullest extent. He was a troublemaker through and through, the kind who could put a smile on anyone’s face, but he always minded his manners, just like his mama raised him. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. 

He is survived by many including his Mother, Dana Smith; Step-father, James Smith; Sister, Emma Carr; Father Tim Shelton; Maternal Great Grandparents, Joel and Hazel Johnson; Maternal Grandparents, Alicia (Nana) and Andy Gonsalves, Jon and Lori Carr; Bonus grandparents Mike and Sharon Porter; his Uncle, Jonathan and Cousin Venture Carr; Bonus Aunts Keara and Evann along with Cousins Kenzie and Ellis; Honorary Aunts, Natalie Minott, Angela Craig, Jennifer Burnham and their children Xaia, Nikaya, Andrè, AJ, Tristan, Mason, Blakelynn, and Krystian. His Ohio family: Uncle Troy, Aunt Susan, Riley, Mike, Megan, Caden, Aria, Jennifer, and his chosen family, they know who they are. He was preceded in death by his Great Aunt Dina and his great-grandparents Les and Joyce Carr. 

A time for visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th, 2025, from 4:00-7:00 pm for friends and family, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 pm at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home located at 436 W James Lee Blvd, Crestview, FL 32536. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made in his honor to The Pup Stop at 6407 FL-189 Baker, FL 32531. Their phone number is 850-343-9986. Kraven was an animal lover; his best girl, Leah, was a rescue pup, and he would want more animals like her to have the opportunity at a furever home.
