Lawrence Alan Frey

Larry Frey, age 63, passed away on April 22, 2025. He was born on August 16, 1961 in Safety Harbor, Florida to Louis and Emily Frey. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, cousin, grandfather, and uncle. He served our country in the United States Air Force for 15 years. Larry loved teaching and taught science at Pryor Middle School in Fort Walton Beach for 9 years and he was also involved in the Boy Scouts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Kathleen, and son; Jason.

Larry is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Michael; daughter, Rebecca; grandson, Alex and Crispin; granddaughter, Kathleen; brothers Robert and Richard, as well as nieces and nephews.

Larry’s daughter Rebecca said, the lesson he drilled most in our heads and hearts, is that Nothing other than God, is more important than family! Family is forever and you never give up on each other. He loved us so much that he literally gave his life trying to protect us. He was the greatest teacher of all time who loved and cared for two generations of family. You deserved so much more.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025, from 10:00-11:00am at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass beginning  at 11:00am. Interment will be on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Barrancas National Cemetery.
