Leighton "Lee" Richmond

Leighton Laurie Richmond (Lee) 83 went home to be with our Savior February 8, 2026 following an acute illness.  Lee was born in Pearl River, NY and moved to Indiana when he joined the Air Force.  After a tour in Vietnam Lee secured a job with State Farm Insurance where he worked in claims for 33 years.  He was promoted and he transferred to Missouri where he retired after his successful career. 

Lee very much enjoyed working on lawn mowers and cars as well as spending time with family and friends. 

He is survived by his wife Leslie Richmond of 48 years as well as his two children Laurie Richmond Ubelhor married to Dennis Ubelhor, and Sean Richmond.  He is also survived by his grandchildren Cody Ubelhor married to Taylor Ubelhor, and Savanah Martinez married to Jose Martinez, Taylor Richmond and Ryan Richmond.  Lee also leaves behind two beautiful great grandchildren.

In lieu of a funeral service, there will be a celebration of life at a later date to be determined.
