Obituary

Leo Romanick age 78 of Crestview passed away on Sunday March 20, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Utica, NY on May 18, 1943, to Leo Walter and Stephanie Romanick. Leo served his country in the United States Air Force with 24 years. He was a Computer System Development Officer. After retiring from the Air Force Leo went to work for General Electric for several years and then went to work in Civil Service at Eglin Air Force Base and worked for 15 years before retiring. Leo loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, hiking and boating. He also loved guitars but most of all he loved his family. Leo was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Kathy Sacksteder. Leo is survived by his wife of 57 years Sandra Romanick; his children Deborah and her husband Justin Baker; Leo Romanick and his wife Christy; 4 grandchildren: Olivia Baker, Ashley Baker, Noah Romanick and Micah Romanick. A private family service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview.
