Lula Beatrice Flood Dunham, age 95, of Crestview, Florida passed away August 28, 2021 at North Okaloosa Hospital in Crestview. She was born August 2, 1926 in Mobile, Alabama to Nora Morgan and Henry Archie Flood.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 68 years, Samuel E. Dunham, Jr.; son-in-laws, George Spurlock and Donald Fife.
She is survived by 7 children, Sandra Spurlock, Samuel E. III (Saeko), Henry, Westley (Lynnette), Susan Fife, Rex (Joyce), and John. 31 grandchildren, 68 great-grands, and 22 great-great-grands.
She is past Worthy Matron of Grand Ada Eastern Star. She loved crafts, ceramics (Busy Bea’s Mud Hut), crocheting, sewing and music. She played with several dulcimer groups in Mobile and Crestview. She was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church and occasionally played her harmonica.
A time of visitation will be held on September 11, 2021 from 12:00-1:00pm at New Beginnings Baptist Church with the funeral service starting at 1:00pm.
