Mann Joseph Haveard of Crestview, Florida went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 15th, 2023. He was born on October 16th, 1932, to William Cary Haveard and Mable Alice Haveard. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He proudly served as an active member of the United States Airforce for 23 years. He then worked as a crane operator at the Pensacola Naval Air Station and at Eglin Air Force Base until he retired. He was also an active member of Concord Lodge #50 for 60 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to Biloxi, bowling, walking at the park, spending time with the family, and eating a good piece of fried mullet.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty Haveard; his parents; all his brothers and sisters; and his son-in-law, Mark Dutton. He is survived by his son Joe Haveard and wife Jan; his daughter Shelia Dutton; his granddaughters, Shaun Schrier, Sara Patti, and Brittany Henderson; and his six great-grandchildren, Joseph, Layla, Colin, Austin, Piper, and Nolen. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday April 22, 2023, at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation with Family and Friends will begin at 1:00 PM and the Funeral Service will begin at 2:00PM, followed by a graveside burial at Live Oak Park Memorial Cemetery. Chaplain Ralph Molyneux will be officiating, and Paul Bearers will include Randy Permenter, Russell Permenter, Robert Permenter, Richard Permenter, Joe Evans, Tommy Armstrong, and JW Armstrong.
