Margaret Clyde McNeal Skipper, 93, of Bonifay, FL passed away on February 1, 2025. Margaret was born to Ella Merle and Perry Clyde McNeal.
Margaret was married to Danford Skipper for 64 years, and together they had one son, Larry Skipper. Margaret is survived by Judy Skipper (daughter-in-law), siblings Ellis McNeal, Mildred Davis, and Gerome McNeal (Catherine) and her two grandchildren, Scott Skipper and Lisinda Dees. Margaret is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, as well as a community of loving friends.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Danford Skipper, son Larry Skipper, grandson Stoney Skipper, sister Rosa Lee Odom, sister-in-law Dorothy McNeal, and brother-in-law Nathan Davis.
Margaret was known for her genuine love of God and gentle spirit. She had the ability to always find the good in any situation and made one of the best pound cakes you would ever eat. Faith and family were the things she valued most. Her laughter filled the room and her love filled our hearts.
Memorial services will be held at Whitehurst Funeral Home in Crestview, Florida on Friday, February 7th. Visitation will be held at 1:00 and funeral service at 2:00, with processional to follow at Live Oak Memorial Park.
