Maria Teresa Baker

Maria Teresa Baker, 65, passed away on March 2, 2026.

Maria came into the world on June 1, 1960, in Columbus, Ohio, and was raised in Naples, Italy, a place that helped shape her love for sunshine, warmth, and living life freely. She is a proud veteran of the United States Navy and carried that strength and independence with her throughout her life.

Maria had a deep love for her fur babies and found joy in simple moments—especially being out in the sun. She lived life on her own terms, with a free spirit that those who knew her will always remember.

She is survived by her daughter, Andria Turbide, and grandson, John Robert Deputy IV; her son, Bobbie Gerald Baker II and his wife, Alli Baker, and their daughter, Mary Michael Baker; her daughter, Katelyn Ferrell and her husband, Jesse Ferrell; her mother, Dina Baker; and her brother, Robert Baker.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bobbie Gerald Baker.

Maria will be cremated so that she may continue her journey as a free soul, just as she lived her life. A private celebration of life will be held by her immediate family at a later date.
