Marilyn Slaughter

Marilyn Slaughter age 81 of Crestview passed away at her daughter’s home on Friday March 11, 2022. She was born in Live Oak, FL on June 14, 1940, to James and Hettie Green. Marilyn grew up in Live Oak and moved to Crestview 20 years ago. Marilyn worked as an LPN for many years. She enjoyed gardening and reading, loved to shop. Most of all she loved her family. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents James and Hettie Greene.

          Marilyn is survived by her children: Lisa Singleton of Gainesville, FL; Doug Slaughter and his wife Gina of St. George, UT; and Melanie Stauffer and her husband Brent of Crestview, FL; 3 grandchildren: Justin Stautter, Colby Singleton and Ian Stauffer and his wife Dani; one great grandchild on the way Clark Wesley Stauffer.

          A private family service will take place at a later date.
