Mike Faircloth age 60 of Baker passed away surrounded by his family on Monday March 28, 2022, at North Okaloosa Medical Center. He was born in Bay Minette, AL on August 16, 1961. Mike worked offshore for many years and then in 1986 studied to become an Electronic Technician. Mike then went to work for Diebold Nixdorf. He loved to work on cars and teach his daughters all about how to take care of the car from changing tires to changing the oil and fixing the brakes. Mike loved the water from fishing to water skiing, and he loved baseball, and Alabama football. Most of all Mike loved his family, he loved being with them and taking care of them. He was preceded in death by his mother Nell Faircloth; sister Karen Knutt; stepson Douglas Wilson, and his aunt Anne Kornegay who he loved like a second mother. Mike is survived by his wife of 38 years Margarette Ann Faircloth; his children: Kasandra Wilson and John, Elizabeth Richards and Carson, and Michaela Faircloth and Nick; sister Poppy Pose and David; grandchildren: Alex and Bre, Cherie, Synthia, Miranda, Gavin, Brandon, Dylan, Savannah, Trenton, Dalton, Kendalynn, Michael, Carter, and Tucker; great grandchildren Easton, Elianna, and Paityn. The celebration of Michael’s life will be on Sunday April 3, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Aubrey Jordan Cemetery.
