Son, father, naval aviator, war hero, amateur photographer, computer wizard, dive master, animal advocate, grandfather, great grandfather, and treasured friend, Michael Norman Knapp (Norman Edward Knapp, Jr.), passed away at home on February 7, 2020 surrounded by his family. “Mike” made a huge impact on this world and will be remembered and missed by all who had the pleasure of crossing his path. Thank you to everyone that made his time on earth so happy.

Dad’s cremains will be privately scattered off the shores of Pensacola, Florida, where he was born.

Mike is survived by his longtime partner, Barbara Joyce and her daughter, Jennifer; and immediate family, Norman E. Knapp III (Mike), Christine Knapp Bankert, Jacquelyn Carrie Garrison, and Joyce Knapp.
