Natasha Ann Hopgood age 52 passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023. She was born on December 20, 1970 in Mount Vernon, New York to Charles and Nellie Thomas. Natasha worked at Brooke Dale Assisted Living Facility for eleven years. She enjoyed grilling, going to the beach, relaxing, listening to music, especially the BeeGees, loved to sing but most of all she loved her family.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Sebastian Heatley; Bestfriend, Lisa Taylor; and her sons, Latroy Kirkland and Jakur Hopgood.

Natasha is survived by her husband of 25 years, Anthony Hopgood; parents, Charles and Nellie Thomas; children, Nikita Kirkland, Jahvon Walsh, Jordan Hopgood, Judy Tavae; brother, Shaun Thomas; sisters, Tonya Thomas, Jeana Campbell, Desirey Daniels, Jackie Robinson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 10:00am at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with the visitation with the family starting after the memorial service.

For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
