Nicky Glenn Myers, whose life was defined by his work ethic and his devotion to his faith, passed away on May 27, 2026.
Originally from Crestview, FL, Nicky was a proud graduate of Troy University. He dedicated much of his professional life to law enforcement, serving as a police officer in Okaloosa County for many years. He was well-regarded across Northwest Florida for his years of dependable service and his commitment to the residents of his community.
A longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Crestview, Nicky’s faith remained a constant throughout his life. He is preceded by his parents, Everett and Wynell Myers, and his nephew, Ryan.
He is survived by his children, Ashton Myers of Austin, Texas, and Ashley Myers of Tallahassee, Florida; his brother, Shannon Myers of Jack, Alabama; and several extended family members and friends.
In accordance with his wishes, Nicky will be cremated. The family will honor his life with a small, private gathering in lieu of a formal service.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 3:00-5:00pm at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home.
