Patricia Treat Obituary

Mrs. Patricia Ann “Pat” Treat (nee Brown), 85, passed away on January 22, 2025, in Crestview, Florida.

Born on February 24, 1939, in San Angelo, Texas. Pat grew up on a small farm surrounded by her siblings and her beloved Aunt Thelma and Uncle James Botts. Her early years instilled in her a strong sense of family and resilience that shaped her life. Pat was a proud military spouse and built a successful career as a property manager while also dedicating time to volunteering in the medical field. She was known for her deep care for others, a quality that extended into every aspect of her life.

An athlete in her youth, Pat excelled in track, golf, and bowling and remained an avid sports fan throughout her life. She was also a talented cook and seamstress. Her creativity shone through in her love for writing, music, decorating, and even upholstering furniture. With a sharp sense of humor and quick wit, she brought joy to those around her. Pat had a deep love for animals—especially her pets—and found comfort in their companionship throughout her life.

Pat’s faith in Christ was central to her life. She cared deeply for others and made it a point to check in on those in her assisted living community. She had an incredible memory for names and faces, making everyone feel valued. Above all else, Pat was a loving wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her children James Curtis Adams, Sharon Maciejack, Ruth Cooper (Bob Cooper), and Jeffrey Adams: stepchildren Margaret Harmon, Richard Treat III, and Doris Treat: grandchildren Tim Cooper (Hannah Cooper), Cassandra Lee, Christopher Maciejack, Daniel Maciejack, and Kayla Kennedy; great-grandchildren Kaio, Cora, Kiara, and Adela: as well as nephews Gary Brown and Dennis Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard L. Treat, Jr.; parents Nauflet Brown and Opal Cockerham Beardsley; sister Barbara Irene Baker; brother Kenneth Wayne Brown; and aunt Thelma Brown Botts and uncle (James Botts).

May Patricia’s memory bring comfort to all who loved her as they cherish the legacy of love she leaves behind.
