Patricia Louise Simpson, devoted wife & mother, was called home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2022. Patricia was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Crestview and managed the Samaritan House for over 10 years; Whereupon, She collected and distributed clothing and food to those in need. She loved to cook and enjoyed sharing time with family and friends, Patricia was considered quite an “Ace” at card games. Patricia is preceded in death by her loving husband, James.

She is survived by her sister, Rita Lagaipa and husband Charles; 4 daughters: Tammy Simpson and M. Vernamonti, Lisa Baughman and husband John, Melissa Morales and husband Paul and Donna Vargo and husband Anthony, as well as Mima to Jonathan, Anthony, Jenna, and Meghan, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her caretaker and friend Eula, dear friends, Randy and Vonda, and furry & faithful companion, McGee. The celebration of Patricia’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m. A private burial will take place on Thursday June 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.
