Patsy Barrow McDonald

Patsy Ann Barrow McDonald, age 76, of Baker, FL, Okaloosa County, went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2024. 

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents Creston and Marie Barrow.  Survivors include her beloved husband of 36 years, Joe B. McDonald of Baker, FL; daughter Toni LaFear (Rob) of Crestview, FL and stepson Joe G. McDonald (Patti) of Shalimar, FL; grandchildren Tyler, Dylan, Cole, and Justin LaFear of Crestview, Erin Williams of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, and Blake McDonald of Shalimar; sisters Sharon Hillmeyer (Jerry) of Bandera, TX, Linette Jerkins (Jack) of Baker; brother Doyle Barrow (Cheryl) of Baker; nephews Adrian Luke (Shonda) of Crestview, Nathan Barrow (Courtney) of Baker, Joseph Jerkins (Stephanie) of Baker, and Jessica Murphy (Chad) of Brewton, AL; great-nephews Aiden Luke of Crestview, Levi, Carson and Judah Barrow of Baker, and great-nieces Brynlee Luke of Crestview and Jassy Barrow of Brewton, AL; and great-grandson Jackson Williams of Ft. Walton Beach, and many cousins and friends.

Patsy was born in Andalusia, Alabama, on November 8, 1947, and lived in Okaloosa County most of her life.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Crestview. She worked for many years in the Okaloosa County judicial system, ultimately retiring after serving for many years as Judicial Assistant to Judge Keith Brace.

A visitation with the family will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Crestview, followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
