Rachel Pelletier

Rachel Marie (Roy) Pelletier of Milton, Florida passed away peacefully on June 8th, 2023.  Rachel was born in Fort Fairfield, Maine on November 16, 1953. She married the love of her life right after highschool and together they had two sons. She worked for the Limestone, ME school department driving school bus for most of her career and in 1995, with her family, relocated to the Florida panhandle.  She drove a dump truck for Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. for many years, eventually owning her own trucking business. Later in life, her family opened their home to many foster kids. Rachel was loved and will be missed by many. 

Preceding her in death was her husband, Lucien J. Pelletier. Her Father, Leo Roy and Mother, Lucienne (Bouley) Roy. Brothers: Llewellyn and Carl Roy. Sisters: Nancy Roy, Shirley Lavoie, Rena St. Pierre, and Caroline "Gilmay" Michaud. 

She is survived by her sons: Corey L. Pelletier and his wife, Tina and Cameron L. Pelletier of The Woodlands, TX. Brothers: Carroll, Roger, Lionel, Clayton; his partner Donna Bernier, and Denton; his partner Colleen Smith of Limestone, ME. 

Sisters: Judy Desena; her husband Larry of Oakville, CT, Robertine Finnemore of Ellijay, GA, and Pauline Martin; her husband Milton of Caribou, ME. Grandchildren: Marisa R. and Delaney A. Pelletier of The Woodlands, TX. Also, preceding her in death is many beloved in-laws, nieces, and nephews. 

A service will be held at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home, 436 W. James Lee Blvd., Crestview, FL 32536 on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. www.stjude.org
