Ragenia (Lawhon) Nichols

Ragenia Nichols passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 13, 1948 in Andalusia, Alabama to Earl and Carolyn Lawhon. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Garden City. Ragenia loved to garden, flowers, and her cats. She also liked to cook, shop on QVC, and most importantly to care for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dale Lawhon; and her infant son.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John Ezra Nichols; son, Jared Nichols; daughter, Holly Tiley and her husband Michael; brother, Don Lawhon and his wife Robin; and her grandchildren, Hunter Nichols, Christian Tiley, and Esperanza Tiley.

A visitation will be held at 1st Baptist Church of Garden City on Saturday, February 13, 2021 beginning at 10:00 am. A funeral service will follow the visitation and will begin at 11:00 am with Dennis Robinson officiating. Burial will follow the services at Cotton Cemetery in Baker, Florida.
