Reverend Albert Corey

Rev. Albert C. Corey, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2019, in Crestview.  He was born May 11, 1951 in Orlando, Florida.  Al has been a Licensed Minister for over 45 years.  He loved history and Bible instruction, and was active in many churches and ministries during his long service to the Lord, among them most recently the Crestview Minister’s Association, Oak Ridge Assembly of God as Pastor, and Freeport Assembly of God as Associate Pastor. He was a “Pastor’s friend and assistant” at local churches, including Shady Grove Assembly of God with Pastor Carroll Senn, and Rev. Dennis Grey.  At the time of his passing, he was an active member of North Central Assembly of God Church in Crestview.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Barbara Miller Corey Tillman.

Al is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Corey; his son, Charles Corey; a brother, David Corey; and two beloved granddaughters, Alyssia and Breela Corey.

Funeral Services for Rev. Corey will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 15, 2019, at North Central Assembly of God, 158 Woodlawn Dr., Crestview, FL.  Burial will follow in Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery in Crestview.

The family requests  that flowers be omitted due to allergies to smells of flowers, and  instead that donations in Al’s memory be made to the West Florida District Assemblies of God, 4792 US-90, Marianna, FL 32446, in thanks for their support of the Corey family at this most difficult time.
