Richard Van Enfield, age 68, of Crestview, FL passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Santa Rosa Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday July 18, 2022, at Victorious Life Worship Center, located at 5973 Victorious Life Pl, Crestview, FL 32536, with Pastor Ben Healy officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Live Oak Cemetery with military honors.
Richard was born April 18, 1954, at Eglin AFB, FL., son to the late Richard Enfield and Ivey Mae Robinson. He retired from Okaloosa County Corrections Department as a Corrections Officer. Richard served his country honorably and is a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Victorious Life Worship Center. Richard and Vickie loved children and for a number of years donated their free time and resources to drive many to church. Richard loved fishing, watching television, and spending time with his beloved “Pearl” and grandchildren. He was a member of the Blue Lodge Masons and Shriner’s Club.
Other than Richard’s parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 30 years Vickie H. Enfield of Crestview; children Linda Enfield Holm (Jack) of Crestview and Joseph Enfield (Chelsey) of Baker; stepsons Gene Beck (Claire) of Las Vegas and Jim Beck of Crestview; grandchildren LeAnn Mesta (Thomas), Michelle Holm, Ren Beck, Harley Enfield, Skylar Enfield, and Winter Enfield “Boo”; great grandson Theo Mesta; sisters Connie Chopp (Jack) and Irene Bartley (Paul); brother Henry Robinson (Sherry); nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Flowers will be accepted, those wishing may make a charitable donation in Richard’s honor to Victorious Life Missions/1040 Window at Victorious Life Worship Center in Crestview.
