Richard Donald Furrow, 92, of Crestview, Florida passed away surrounded by the love of his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Richard lived a life marked by service, steadiness, and quiet joy.
Born in 1933, Richard dedicated 24 years to the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam and Korean War with honor and commitment. After retiring from active duty, he continued his lifelong service to his country through 20 additional years in Civil Service. His work ethic, integrity, and sense of duty were constants throughout his life.
While stationed in Japan, Richard met the love of his life, Sadako, beginning a partnership that lasted more than 60 years. Their marriage was a testament to loyalty, patience, and deep affection.

He is survived by his daughters Carolyn Cartagena and Donna Bertossi; grandchildren Amy Partlow, Christy Soileau, Amanda Roithmeier, and grandson-in-law Jason Soileau; and great-grandchildren Ian Soileau, Lily Soileau, and Samuel Simmons-Partlow.
