Robbie Lynn Boykin

Robbie Lee Boykin, 82, of Crestview died peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2020. She was born on July 31, 1937 in Dale County, AL to parents Theodore Roosevelt Lee, Sr. and Lila Dale Windham Lee. She was a 1954 graduate of Enterprise High School, where she was a majorette in the Wildcat Band. Robbie was involved throughout her life in many civic and community organizations, including Crestview Area Recreation Association where her 3 sons were involved in many sports activities.  She took great pleasure in making God’s world a more beautiful place by gardening and landscaping. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Evelyn Lee Nolin and Sara Lee Williams; two sons, Christopher Ryan Boykin and Billy Randall Grimes; one grandson, Clinton Cole Murphey; and a great-grandson, Ethan Michael Ferrill. She is survived by siblings Theodore Lee, Jr. and Christine Lee Hartzog; children Sandra Lynn Grimes Ferrill (Paul), Lisa Jo Grimes Murphey (Wayne), Charles Russell Boykin (Shea), and Guy Alexander Boykin (Rebekah); 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her niece, Dianne Riley, for her devoted love and friendship over the years.  Her life was devoted to her children and making the world a more beautiful place.  She will be greatly missed, but always loved.

Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 2:00pm at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with the visitation with family starting at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery 10 Providence Lane Daleville, Alabama 36322.
