It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Robert (Bob) Bradley Morrison, who passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, at the age of 89.
Born on June 5, 1936, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Robert had a lifelong passion for craftsmanship which included metal fabrication, building structures, and working on projects. His time in the Minnesota Army National Guard and his career as a long-haul truck driver were filled with many adventures, which he loved recounting to anyone willing to listen. He made a lasting impact on those who heard his stories and shared his enthusiasm. Bob also enjoyed sharing jokes to bring laughter to others. He was an unsung hero, as he would work behind the scenes to help those that needed a helping hand. He cherished his family, friends, and his dogs.
Robert is survived by his children: Jeffrey (Anne) Morrison, Bradley (Debbie) Morrison, and Jaylene (J.B.) Carteret; his brother, Richard (Carol) Morrison; his sister, Barb (Brian) Hope; his grandsons, Jason (Jessica) Morrison, Ryan (Sara) Morrison, James (Rebecca) Paul, and Derek Paul; his granddaughters, Maya (Sandy) Morrison, Heather (Philip) Haseltine, Allison (Morgan) Carteret, and Breanna Vottero; sixteen great-grandchildren; and special friends, Marlene Veillot and John Caito.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bradley Edward Morrison and Alice Anne Morrison (Keckeisen); his brother, Jimmy Morrison; his son, Johnny Morrison; his granddaughter, Raylene Paul; and his great-grandson, Bryson Morrison.
A memorial service will be held at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home on July 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. All friends and family are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in his name.
