Ronald Corbin

Ronald Corbin age 74 of Baker passed away Sunday morning January 9, 2022, at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born in Florala, AL on January 4, 1948, to William Ernest & Ola Mae Corbin. Ronald was a lifetime resident of Baker area and worked for many years as a General Contractor. He loved playing cards with his friends and working outside. Family was the most important thing to him, he loved spending time with his grandkids, and he loved working and building a home for Ms. Phyllis. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, and several siblings and his wife Joann Corbin.

          Ronald is survived by his fiancé & soul mate Phyllis Sylvester; children: Bobbie Jo Kelly, Ronda Seymour and husband Robert, and Cecelia Mortimer; 2 sisters: Dean Hall and Gloria Butler; the apple of his eye were his grandkids: Heather Rusher, Tyler Stout, Amanda Stout, John David “J.D.” Booker, III, Courtney Redditt, Leonard “Bud” Ellis, III, and Samantha McCombs, along with numerous great grandchildren which he adored as well; multiple nieces & nephews.

A private family service for Ronald will take place at a later time.
