Sara Brown

Sara Eugene Brown passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born on May 22, 1939, in Thomaston, Georgia to Riley and Sara Fenley.

Sara was a cook and a seamstress, but most of all she cherished her family and the bond she shared with those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in all who were blessed to know her.

Sara was preceded in death by her husband Carl Brown, parents Riley and Sara Fenley, her brother Jerry Fenley, brother John Fenley, brother-in-law Bill Griffith and son-in-law Claude Sabo.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister Phronsie Griffith, 6 children Phoebe Dunn (David), Michael Ramey (Eva), Terrie Martin (Wayne), Cindy Sabo, Tammy Montague (Mark) and Timmy Ramey and 10 grandchildren Andrea Rinke (Eric), Beth Patterson, Crystal Clark (Jeff), Lloyd Ramey (Natali), Tina Ramey (Valentina), Shonda Luke (Adrian), Carl Ramey (Andrea), Dylan Sabo, Andrew Montague, Spencer Montague, Tara Miller and Morgan Miller. Along with 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and many dear relatives and friends.

The family will hold a memorial on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Faith Tabernacle 401 E. Robinson Avenue Crestview, FL 32539.
