Selma Cosson

Selma Jean Cosson passed away peacefully on December 25, 2022.

Selma was born on November 21,1946 and was a lifelong resident of Crestview, Florida. She worked as a nurse for the Department of Corrections for over 25 years. She cared deeply for all of her coworkers and friends, but above all she loved and cherished her family. 

Selma is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Flor B Adams, brother, Foy Adams, and her husband, James Cosson.  She is survived by her children Stephanie Sanders (Jay) and Lonnie Miller (Vicki), grandchildren, Ashley Miller (Jake), Danie Parris (Kelly), Matthew Sanders (Emily), Zachary Miller (Kristian), Jacey Banach (Drew), Tori Wilson (Hunter), her cousin and close friend Martha Lundy, two brothers Gene Adams (Judy) and Joe Adams and 11 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 3 pm. Visitation with the family will begin at 2 pm. Burial to follow at Old Bethel Cemetery.
