Steve Andrews, age 65 of Crestview, FL passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, July 8, 2022, in the chapel at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home, 436 West James Lee Blvd Crestview, FL 32536. Immediately following the service, the family will receive friends with a reception at The Shepard Church, located at 5305 Hwy 4, Baker, FL 32531. On Sunday, July 10, 2022, you are welcome to attend a Scattering of Ashes at Sea from 9:00AM-11:00AM at the Destin Harbor, 102 Harbor Blvd Destin, FL 32541 Olin Marker’s Dolphin Cruise boat. Family will be there to great you before you embark.

Steve, son of the late James Andrews, Sr., and Doris Adams Andrews, was born February 22, 1957, in West Palm Beach, FL. He served his community as a police officer, later retiring as Sergeant from Ocean Ridge Police Department. Steve and his wife, Line, have lived in Crestview for the past 18 years. He loved boating and fishing, going to the shooting range, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, but most of all, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 25 years, Line Pitt Andrews of Crestview, beloved dog “Bella” of Crestview, brother James E. Andrews, Jr. of NC; sister Donna S. Simmons (James) of TN; nephews Ryan J. Miller (Stormy) of GA and Matthew J. Andrews of FL; niece Brittney S. Clement (Tim) of CO; great nieces Elizabeth of CO and Lily of FL; great nephew Jack of CO; best friend Barney Bailey of Crestview; numerous other friends and relatives.
