Sybil Carson age 76 of Crestview passed away on Wednesday September 7, 2022, at her home. She was born in the Philippines on May 12, 1946, to Cristito and Anna Herrera. Sybil moved to the area with her family in 1985. Sybil was Catholic by faith and attended Our Lady of Victory. She loved shopping, loved her dog and loved being with her friends and family. Sybil enjoyed going to Biloxi with her husband Don and watching the shows. Most of all she loved her family, especially the grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Fernando Herrera.

          Sybil is survived by her husband of 43 years Don Carson; her daughters: Christina Carson Decker and husband Doug; Brandy Carson Fosco and husband Alan; her brothers James and Ariel Herrera and sister Wilma Barredo; the apple of her eye was her 5 grandchildren: Carson, Dylan, Tyson, Natalia and Gregory.

          A time of visitation with the family will be held at the Chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home on Saturday September 10, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. till 3:00 p.m.
