Teresa (Barrow) Atkins

Teresa Atkins age 59 of Crestview passed away on Friday September 24, 2021, at North Okaloosa Medical Center. She was born in Crestview on November 10, 1961, to Elmer & Nell Barrow. Teresa has been a lifelong resident of Crestview and worked for the Okaloosa County School board for 25 years as the North County Zone Manager for Custodial Services. She loves to fish and go camping. Teresa loved her fur baby Gracie, but most of all she loved life and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her mother & father-in-law Edna Bell & Monk Atkins. Teresa is survived by her husband of 44 years Tim Atkins, son Tim Atkins, Jr.; Brothers: Jimmy Barrow, Rex Barrow, & John Keegans; Sister Brenda McKeon; Grandchildren: Chandlar & Hunter Atkins and her brother-in-law Allen Atkins and his wife Jane along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends and extended family. A time of visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday September 29, 2021, at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. The celebration of Teresa’s life will be held on Thursday September 30, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Good Hope Congregational Cemetery.
