Terrie Elmore

Terrie Elmore, age 68, of Crestview passed away on Wednesday January 11, 2023, in Lakeland, FL. She was born in Crestview, FL on April 15, 1954, to Henton “H.D.” and Dorothy Elmore. Terrie grew up in Crestview and graduated from Crestview High School in 1972. Terrie served her country in the United States Army. She loved to play basketball and softball. Terrie was an avid Florida State fan and loved to travel with her family and friends. She loved music, the beach, fishing, and spending time with her family. Terrie worked for several years in Destin and then worked with the Okaloosa County School Board in the food services department. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Lisa and brother-in-law James Edward McCall.

          Terrie is survived by her brother Bobby Elmore, his wife Debra, sister Tina McCall, sister Sharlot McIntosh and husband Warren, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

          The funeral service for Terrie will be on Tuesday January 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at The Chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 a.m.
