Tony Burnett

Tony Burnett age 64 of Baker passed away on Tuesday January 3, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born in Montgomery, AL on December 2, 1958 to Thomas and Opal Burnett. Tony worked for AT&T for many years as an outside service Tech. He was a member of Crosspoint North Campus. Tony loved working in the yard and loved to tinker. He enjoyed doing puzzles and reading. Most of all Tony loved his family, especially the grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jeff Burnett, brother in law Bruce Jackson and mother in law Shirley Jackson.

          Tony is survived by his wife of 23 years Karan Burnett; his children Samantha Fryer and husband Clint, Jacob Burnett and wife Natalie, Zachary Burnett and wife Samantha, Justin Burnett, Michael Gilbert and wife Heather;; brothers Mickey Burnett and wife Linda and Danny Burnett and wife Ann; grandchildren: Savannah, Abbigayle, Cadence, Leighna, Chance, Anna, Johnathan, Jack, Ansleigh, and Connor; father in law Benjamin Jackson; brothers and sisters in law: Frank and Pam Jackson, Wanda Nelson, Alexandrea Jackson, Chase Jackson, and Kelly Jackson.

          The celebration of Tony’s life will be held on Saturday January 28, 2023 at 2:00pm at Crosspoint North Campus. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 1:00pm.
