Ursula Fosman

Ursula M. Fosman, a resident of Crestview, Florida, passed away on 11 August, 2024. She is survived by her husband Herbert (Herb) Fosman after 64 years of marriage and they had no children. Ursula was born in Trier, Germany on 3 May 1940 and graduated from St. Barbara Catholic School in Trier in 1957. Ursula met her husband in 1958 while he was stationed in Bitburg AFB, Germany and was married on Urusla’s 20th birthday in Trier on 3 May 1960. In 1980 Ursula attended a Red Cross Dental Assistance School in Germany and thereafter worked a total of 10-years volunteering at installations where Herb was stationed. In 2000 after her husband’s final retirement, they moved to Crestview, Florida from Germany and Ursula worked another 9 years at a dental clinic in Crestview retiring in 2009. In 2000 Ursula joined the Ladies Auxiliary to the Knights of Columbus (KofC) and became a very active member of the organization working many projects in support of the needy within the community. She also worked KofC weekly bingo, the KofC main means of support, for years that helped support the church and community. The celebration of Ursula’s life will be on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Our Lady  of Victory Catholic Church at 10:00am with the visitation starting at 9:00am. Burial will follow at Liveoak  Park Memorial Cemetery.
