October 11, 2023, Virgil Raymond Bragg passed away at North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, FL. He was born to Harold and Esther Bragg in Harlem, OH on March 5, 1943. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Ricky Bragg; Brothers, Harold Bragg, Robert Bragg and William Peavers along with his sister, Esther Jane Gregg. Virgil leaves behind to cherish his memory, his bride of 60 years, Ingrid Bragg; his sons and daughter in law, Thomas Bragg and Billy (Lisa) Bragg; siblings, Shirley Farley, Charolette Gross, Glenn Bragg and Grant Bragg; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Virgil was the most easy going man you could ever meet. He had proudly served in the United States Army for 8 years and when he got out; he continued to serve and help others. He had a talent for woodworking and could build or fix just about anything. He was known in the community as the handyman. If something broke, neighbors near and far would come looking for him. Virgil knew what it was like to be married to a fine and wonderful woman and to love her beyond words. Together they raised their children to respect others and be kind to all. Virgil will be forever in the hearts of those that knew him.
