Virgil Carlton (Trey) Youngblood III, 33, of Holt, FL, stepped out of this earthly world and began his walk through eternity on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. The light and beauty of his spirit will be missed by all of us blessed to be touched by his life. Virgil never met a stranger. He loved people, and treasured his family. He greatly desired to minister, travelling twice to Uganda on mission trips to spread God’s love, and hoped to go again. Music was a great part of his life; a talented composer and musician, he recently received his Bachelors Degree in music production, hoping to use it in music ministry.
He was proceeded in death by his Grandfather Carson Eugene Arnett, Grandmother Virginia Dare Arnett, Grandfather Virgil Carlton Youngblood, Grandmother Ouida Lorene Sullivan, and Uncle Shawn Sullivan. Virgil is survived by his Son, Elijah Jordan Youngblood; Mother, Joyce M. Arnett; Dad, Virgil C. Youngblood, Jr. (wife Susan); Nanny, Beth Youngblood; Brothers John C. Youngblood and Christian T. Jacobsen; three step-brothers and a step-sister; Beloved Uncle William H. Arnett (wife Marlene); Godmother Pauline Usigbe; numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, and friends scattered across the globe.
A memorial service will be held in Virgil’s honor on Saturday, August 22, 2020 beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Whitehurst-Powel Funeral Home, 436 W. James Lee Blvd. Crestview, FL 32536.
