Williard Keith Lively, 84, of Crestview Florida passed peacefully from this life on May 10, 2026. Born July 14, 1941, to Wilbert Greene Lively and Ella Chapman Lively of Lookout, West Virginia, Williard grew up on the family homestead surrounded by the love and bustle of a large family. He was one of ten children, preceded in death by his brother Dempsey and sisters Phyllis, Doris, and Patsy. He is survived by his wife Essie and siblings Ruby Kelly, Dennis Lively, and Robert Lively.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, Keith served his country with honor and returned home to continue a life rooted in hard work, family, and sprinkled with faith. On March 4, 1966, he married the love of his life, Essie Mae Lively, with whom he built a lasting home filled with laughter, love, and the joys & hardships of parenthood. Together they raised five children: Cindy Arthur; Bryan Lively, Crystal Lively Borges, Wayne Lively, and Robert Lively. Keith’s legacy lives on through his 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, each a testament to the warmth and strength of his character. Loving recognition is shared by spouses of his children to include Jorge, Kim, Lina & Crystal.

Keith was known for his easygoing spirit, quick smile, and tireless hands. An excellent carpenter and a true jack of all trades, he could fix nearly anything and was always happiest with a fishing pole in hand, and a strong cup of coffee and a donut in the morning. Saturday afternoons often found him relaxing to a good old-fashioned western, while Sunday mornings began with his beloved country radio station, WCMS, echoing throughout the house—much to the early-morning dismay of his children.

Baptized in his early thirties, Keith was a man of quiet faith who made sure his family was in church every Sunday, whether he joined them or not. He believed deeply in helping others, always ready to lend a hand to a neighbor or a friend in need. His steady presence, humor, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A life well lived, a man well loved—Williard Keith Lively leaves behind a legacy of kindness, craftsmanship, and devotion that will not be forgotten.
